The video is realized by the artists and producers responsible for the extinct “Zona Franca” event that was held from 2001 to 2002 in Rio de Janeiro. The event took place each Monday evening at a couple of empty rooms of the Circo Voador venue, at the Lapa neighborhood. In an anarchistic way, the event put together performance, video, film, music, installation etc. from artists of different generations. The video shows images from the original events together with images from a new event, specially produced for “On Difference #2 Grenzwertig”, in January 2006. It also includes the memories, recollections and statements from former Zona Franca’s participants and spectators.
