The exhibition Actually, the Dead Are Not Dead. Politiken des Lebens, which includes works by around twenty contemporary artists, revolves around an understanding of life beyond the separation between life and death, nature and culture, human being and animal, subject and object, healthy and sick, past and future. Works from the fields of drawing, painting, photography, video and installation are on display. The project is based on the Bergen Assembly 2019, a triennial for contemporary art in Bergen, Norway, whose artistic convenors in 2019 were the directors of the Württembergischer Kunstverein.
