1:1 CONCERTS e.V., the Staatsorchester Stuttgart and the SWR Symphonieorchester are jointly organizing a festival weekend on July 24 and 25, 2021 under the sign of freelance artists. At various Stuttgart venues, freelance artists from the disciplines of music, dance, acting, puppetry and artistry will perform over 500 individual 1:1 PERFORMANCES. The Württembergischer Kunstverein is one of these venues and welcomes you on Sunday, July 25, 2021.

A 1:1 PERFORMANCE represents an approximately 10-minute non-verbal encounter between a guest and an artist:in. The individual performance starts with an intensive eye contact - an intense experience for both sides that enables closeness despite distance. Who performs remains a surprise.

All of this happens for a good cause: The 1:1 FESTIVAL gives freelance artists a paid stage, and all voluntary donations during the festival weekend are used to sustainably strengthen the Stuttgart art scene. In solidarity, the musicians of the Stuttgart State Orchestra and the SWR Symphony Orchestra will once again raise funds for their freelance colleagues.
