Shared Space #Parkside

A project by Farida e.V. and Ezidische Sonne Stuttgart
in cooperation with Württembergischer Kunstverein
Supported by the city of Stuttgart

The exhibition will take place on the Shared Space #Parkside of the Württembergischer Kunstverein. It will consist of 40 images showing portraits of Yezidi survivors and the Sinjar region before and after the IS attack. The photo exhibition documents the genocide that occurred in Iraq in 2014 and its consequences that continue to this day. In addition, information panels will tell the story of the Yezidis, the genocide and the genocide survivors. The exhibition will be completed by a wide range of events.

Shared Space #Parkside
The Shared Space #Parkside is a new temporary outdoor platform in the sculpture courtyard of the Württembergischer Kunstverein, which will be used by the WKV (WKV #Parkside) and other partners (Shared Space #Parkside) for various events until the end of September.
The Shared Space #Parkside was funded by the impulse program "Art despite Distance" of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg.
