Mediation Program 2020

The Württembergischer Kunstverein is gradually developing various formats for a mediation program that meets the necessary protective requirements to contain the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and at the same time enables encounters and exchanges.

The Kunstverein sees itself as a place for the examination of the manifold practices and fields of reference of contemporary art, as an open space for action that goes far beyond the mere showing of art. In order to guarantee this even during the pandemic, we have, for example, developed a series of tables where, thanks to separating glass panes, up to four people can sit and communicate with each other. Among other things, they serve for the free introductions to the exhibitions, taking place every Sunday. In addition to these introductions, exhibition tours, workshops and more are planned, which are aimed at different groups. Inclusion and diversity are important goals here.

On the digital level, the Kunstverein has developed, among other things, the Shutdown Program, which will deal in the long term with various questions and problems that have become so evident with the current pandemic.

The offer will be extended in the coming weeks and months
