BIOGRAFIE

geb. 1964 in Aracena, Huelva; lebt und arbeitet in Sevilla
 
Pedro G. Romero arbeitet zwischen den Bereichen bildende Kunst, Theorie, Literatur, Film, Musik, Theater und Tanz. Er hat zahlreiche Choreografien für den Flamenco-Tänzer Israel Galván entwickelt und Ausstellungen wie The Spanish Night. Flamenco, Avant-Garde and Popular Culture (2007, Reina Sofia, Madrid) oder A Theatre Without Theatre (2007, MACBA) kokuratiert. Das Archivo F.X. wurde unter anderem auf den Biennalen von Venedig (2009, Katalanischer Pavillon), Thessaloniki (2007, Kuratorin: Catherine David) und auf der europäischen Biennale Manifesta (2010, Murcia und Cartagena) gezeigt sowie in Ausstellungshäusern wie die Reina Sofia, das MACBA, das ZKM in Karlsruhe und die Deichtorhallen in Hamburg.
