Postponement of the 2020 General Membership Meeting

The ongoing pandemic makes planning meetings beyond virtual spaces almost impossible. Unfortunately, we therefore have to postpone the date of the already postponed 2020 General Membership Meeting again: Instead of April 15, 2021, we are now planning the meeting on Thursday, June 24, 2021. In case of another postponement, we will inform you.

The memorial to the murdered Sinti and Roma remains!

"For the benefit of its new route network, Deutsche Bahn AG has considered the plan to remove or relocate the memorial to the the murdered Sinti and Roma in Berlin-Tiergarten, or to build an S-Bahn tunnel directly underneath it, or to relocate the tracks directly next to the memorial. We, the Sinti-Roma-Pride initiative consider this absolutely ignorant, impious and unacceptable in view of the co-responsibility of the German Reichsbahn regarding millions of people…" read more + sign

Administration of WKV moved to Werastrasse 28

As the old wing of the Kunstgebäude Stuttgart is being renovated, the administration of the Württembergischer Kunstverein had to move. For about two years it is located at Werastrasse 28, 70182 Stuttgart, directly opposite the Cranko School. The exhibition venue of the Kunstverein in the Kunstgebäude at the Schlossplatz is not affected by the renovation measures. Due to the current corona regulations, it unfortunately can be used recently only in ghost mode.

Meeting despite Corona

In order to enable encounters, exchanges and stays in our rooms despite the Corona pandemic, we have constructed special tables. Four people can sit at each of them. Each table is equipped with separating glass panels and four separate power connections. On request, we will be happy to make the model available for reproduction.
